This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable to services, projects, events, and engagements provided by Sirius Idea Sdn Bhd (“Sirius Idea”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
1. General Policy
Due to the custom, creative, and project-based nature of our services, all payments made to Sirius Idea are non-refundable, except where expressly stated in writing.
Once work has commenced, resources have been allocated, or third-party costs have been incurred, refunds will not be provided.
2. Deposits & Advance Payments
- All deposits, retainers, or advance payments are strictly non-refundable
- Deposits are used to:
- Secure project timelines
- Allocate creative, technical, and operational resources
- Commit to vendors, venues, or third-party services
3. Project-Based Services (Creative, Digital, Marketing, Technology)
For services including but not limited to:
- Branding & design
- Digital marketing campaigns
- Website, app, or platform development
- Content creation and strategy
a. Client Cancellation
- If a client cancels after confirmation:
- All completed work up to the cancellation date remains chargeable
- Any unused balance will not be refunded
- Third-party costs are fully chargeable to the client
b. Revisions & Scope Changes
- Refunds will not be issued due to:
- Change of mind
- Change in creative direction
- Internal client approvals or delays
- Scope changes may be handled via revised quotations
4. Events, Activations & On-Ground Programs
For events, activations, or community programs:
- Payments are non-refundable once:
- Event planning has commenced
- Vendor bookings are confirmed
- Permits, logistics, or installations are arranged
If an event is postponed:
- Payments may be credited to a rescheduled date (subject to availability)
- Additional costs may apply
5. Third-Party Costs
Any costs incurred by Sirius Idea on behalf of the client, including but not limited to:
- Venues
- Vendors
- Talent
- Influencers
- Equipment
- Licenses or permits
are non-refundable and payable in full once committed.
6. Digital Products & Deliverables
All digital deliverables, including:
- Design files
- Campaign assets
- Digital content
- Source files (where applicable)
are non-refundable once delivered, whether used or not.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered solely at the discretion of Sirius Idea in exceptional cases such as:
- Proven duplicate payments
- Material failure to deliver services due solely to Sirius Idea’s fault
Any approved refund:
- Will exclude administrative fees
- Will exclude third-party costs
- May be processed as a credit instead of a cash refund
8. Force Majeure
Sirius Idea shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Public safety concerns
- Pandemics
- Power or system failures
In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed and may be replaced with credits or rescheduling options.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Clients are encouraged to contact Sirius Idea directly before initiating any chargebacks or disputes.
Unauthorised chargebacks may result in:
- Suspension of services
- Legal recovery actions
- Administrative charges
10. Policy Acceptance
By engaging Sirius Idea’s services or making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
